Week 2 has wrapped up, and we have a much better idea of what some of these teams look like. Here’s an updated ranking heading into week 3.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) (LW: 1)

The Chiefs continue to look like the most complete team in football. If Alex Smith can somehow maintain this level of play, there isn’t a weakness on this roster. Are they fools gold or could this be the year?

2. Denver Broncos (2-0) (LW: 15)

I could not have been more wrong about this team. Trevor Siemian looks like a new QB, and the defense somehow looks better. Until the offense slows down, this is a Super Bowl contender.

3. Atlanta Falcons (2-0) (LW: 10)

Super Bowl hangover? Says who? This team looks like the fastest team in football. The defense plays with incredible intensity and there are so many weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Losing Vic Beasley hurts, but they should be alright.

4. Oakland Raiders (2-0) (LW: 1-0)

3 of the 4 teams in the AFC West are in the top 4… This division should be very interesting. Derek Carr is looking like the league MVP early. If the defense can even be mediocre, the Raiders are in for a great year.

5. New England Patriots (1-1) (LW: 8)

Looks like they’re back. Brady is still Brady. The defense looked improved. Expect them to remain in the top 5 for the rest of the year.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) (LW: 6)

They got the job done at home. The offense is loaded, and it should pick up as the season progresses. The defense has been pleasantly surprising so far, albeit against weak competition. Like the Raiders, that will be the key for them.

7. Carolina Panthers (2-0) (LW: 11)

The offense could use some work, but this might be the best defense in football. They’ll really be tested by Drew Brees and the New Orlean’s offense this week.

8. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) (LW: 7)

There is absolutely no shame in going into KC and losing by a TD. This team dominates the trenches on both sides of the ball, expect a lot of success going forward.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) (LW: 18)

The offense looks solid, but it’s the defense that really impressed me. Yes, it was the Bears, but there was a different level of intensity out there. Maybe it was the extra rest. Maybe it was the emotions after the hurricane. But if they can ride that momentum, this could be a serious dark horse.

10. Detroit Lions (2-0) (LW: 12)

The Lions proved me wrong this week, and they might prove me wrong all year. The defense looks better than expected, and Stafford continues to improve.

11. Baltimore Ravens (2-0) (LW: 13)

This defense will make every Ravens game competitive. Can the offense lead this team to the Playoffs? That I’m not so sure of.

12. Dallas Cowboys (1-1) (LW: 2)

I… what was that? I’m sure they’ll bounce back, but that was absolutely embarrassing. This looked like a team of quitters.

13. Green Bay Packers (LW: 3)

Aaron Rodgers confuses me. He’s absolutely incredible. He might be the best QB I’ve ever seen. Yet for some reason, there are long stretches where he just looks off. This game might be the beginning of a stretch like that. They head back home to take on the reeling Bengals, there’s no excuses for another poor performance here.

14. Minnesota Vikings (1-1) (LW: 4)

I’m still assuming Bradford will be back within a reasonable amount of time, otherwise the Vikings fall further.

15. Miami Dolphins (1-0) (LW: 17)

Are the Dolphins actually solid or did the Chargers just Charger themselves? They take on the Jets next week, another W would be nice for them.

16. Washington Redskins (1-1) (LW: 20)

This is just the definition of an adequate football team. Not many stars. Not many holes. Just… average everywhere.

17. Tennessee Titans (1-1) (LW: 23)

It took a while for them to get going, but man did they get going. We really need to start seeing some more Derrick Henry. Assuming Mariota improves his chemistry with his wideouts as the season goes on, the Titans should be a playoff contender.

18. Seattle Seahawks (1-1) (LW: 9)

This might feel a bit low, but until this offense can prove that it can score, they might seriously disappoint this season.

19. Houston Texans (1-1) (LW: 29)

They really only moved up because they got a win more recently. This defense is great, but the offense will likely lead to issues.

20. Los Angeles Rams (1-1) (LW: 16)

Ok, so that game against the Colts was a bit of an outlier. Still, they actually didn’t look awful.

21. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) (LW: 21)

This team is just so good at losing… But they at least looked competitive in their two losses unlike every other 0-2 team.

22. New Orleans Saints (0-2) (LW: 23)

This defense man… Just trade Drew Brees and start a rebuild. Send him to Arizona or something. Let the man play for a ring.

23. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) (LW: 14)

It’s a real shame… This defense is actually very good. It might be top 5 in the league on paper. But with this offense, they’ll get worn out on a weekly basis.

24. Buffalo Bills (1-1) (LW: 19)

Now that we’ve seen this team play against an actual NFL roster, we can see that they aren’t very good.

25. Chicago Bears (0-2) (LW: 25)

They at least looked competitive in Week 1. Maybe they’ll be a decent home team?

26. San Francisco 49ers (0-2) (LW: 28)

How did they move up after losing? Other teams were just… worse.

27. New York Giants (0-2) (LW: 27)

There’s no excuse for this offense to be this mediocre… Eli actually wasn’t awful, but everyone contributed to the collective garbage we saw tonight.

28. Cleveland Browns (0-2) (LW: 24)

Deshone Kizer showed some growing pains against Baltimore. But despite his struggles, there’s something about him that’s fun to watch.

29. Arizona Cardinals (1-1) (LW: 26)

“Brian, how can the Cardinals move DOWN after a win?”. Well, let me tell you Cardinal’s fan. A 3 point win against a Luckless Colts team is basically a loss.

30. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) (LW: 30)

They still haven’t scored a touchdown… Need I say anything else?

31. New York Jets (0-2) (LW: 31)

They looked competitive for a little bit against the Raiders, but in the end this team just doesn’t have enough talent. At least they’ll be landing a nice QB in the draft.

32. Indianapolis Colts (0-2) (LW: 32)

Wow this team is bad… Do you all see Andrew Luck’s value yet?
