Record (35-44)

I’m not doing very well at this… But if the Chiefs can turn a 1-5 season into a Playoff run, I don’t see why I can’t go on a hot streak.

**HOME TEAM IN ALL CAPS

CHARGERS (+3.5) Over Broncos

This is the type of game the Chargers win… The Broncos have an interim head coach, on a short week, on the road, against a team that is desperate for a win. Bolts find a way to give their fans a slight glimmer of optimism before getting romped by Atlanta next week. Chargers 27 Broncos 23

49ers (+7.5) Over BILLS

Kaepernick and Chip Kelly. Finally we get to see it. I think they’ll actually keep it close. But the Bills still pull out the victory. Bills 24 49ers 20

REDSKINS (+2.0) Over Eagles

I’m dumb. This is a dumb pick. That’s all. But I’m sticking with it. Redskins 27 Eagles 24

Browns (+7.0) Over TITANS

This feels way too easy… Yes the Titans are at home, but the Browns have kept it close with every team not named “The Patriots” so far this season. The Titan’s offense is still struggling. Josh McCown should be back. I think it’s close. Titans 20 Browns 17

Ravens (+3.0) Over GIANTS

This is such a tough one… Two teams with stagnant offenses that could get hot at any second. Two teams with solid defenses. I’ll take the better defense here. Ravens 16 Giants 13

Panthers (-3.0) Over SAINTS

This is even tougher… The Panthers look awful, but they still have the talent to erupt at any week. The Saints are at home, coming off of a Bye, desperate for a win… I have to take Carolina, assuming Newton returns. Panthers 34 Saints 30

EDIT**** I AM NOW TAKING THE SAINTS (+3.0) OVER THE PANTHERS. THE SAINTS AFTER THE BYE SHOULD FIND A WAY TO DEFEAT A PANTHERS TEAM THAT THEY CAME SO CLOSE TO BEATING LAST YEAR. I WILL LEAVE THE TOP ANALYSIS, BUT IT IS NOW VOID. NEW SCORE PREDICTION – SAINTS 38 PANTHERS 34

Jaguars (+2.5) Over BEARS

The Jaguars could easily be 3-1 right now… They aren’t great but they aren’t awful. The Bears… they are awful. Jaguars 27 Bears 20

LIONS (-3.5) Over Rams

The Rams appear to be crashing back down to earth now that they’re playing out of the division again. The Lions usually keep their games close, but I see them just covering this spread here. Lions 24 Rams 17

Steelers (-7.5) Over DOLPHINS

Why are the Dolphins so terrible? Steelers 45 Dolphins 17

PATRIOTS (-8.5) Over Bengals

I can’t imagine any team winning in Foxboro this weekend… And the Bengals look uncharacteristically bad this season. Patriots 38 Bengals 20

Chiefs (pk) Over RAIDERS

At this point, we all know how well Andy Reid teams perform after the Bye. The Raiders have been squeaking by some pretty average teams. It’s about time they lose one. Chiefs 28 Raiders 24

SEAHAWKS (-6.5) Over Falcons

The Falcons just went into Denver and they emerged with a victory. Now they’re still 6.5 point underdogs? That tells me that Vegas knows something that we don’t. They are BEGGING YOU to take the Falcons. Don’t fall for it. Seahawks win big. Seahawks 35 Falcons 21

Cowboys (+4.0) Over PACKERS

This one is weird… This one feels more than too easy… It wouldn’t shock me at all if I’m completely wrong and this is the week that Aaron Rodgers turns it on AND this is the week that the Cowboys offense becomes stagnant… But I can’t pick against them. I think they win straight up. Cowboys 27 Packers 23

TEXANS (-3.0) Over Colts

The Texans are very good at beating average teams… So I think they’ll be fine here. Texans 31 Colts 23

CARDINALS (-7.5) Over Jets

I don’t know… If Carson Palmer returns, the Cardinals should blow the Jets out of the water based on how they’re both playing this year. But aren’t the Jets due for a good game? Another very tough spread… Cardinals 34 Jets 24
