Brian Sullivan

Week 1 didn’t go terribly, but it could’ve gone better. So here we go, here’s Week 2, in order of confidence, with the HOME TEAMS in all caps.

Record (7-9)

RAIDERS (-4.5) Over Falcons – This has blowout written all over it. Jameis abused the Falcons defense last week, time for Derek Carr to. Although Trufant vs. Cooper should be a lot of fun to watch. Raiders 38 Falcons 20

Steelers (-3.5) Over BENGALS – At home, the Steelers are money. The Bengals will keep it close, but Pittsburgh will rally off near the end, just like last week. Score Prediction –  Steelers 31 Bengals 23

Jets (pk) Over BILLS

I like this one, especially if Sammy Watkins doesn’t play. The Bills looked pretty stagnant on offense against Baltimore… And this Jets defense is just as talented, if not more. Matt Forte continues to impress early on as the Jets win. Jets 24 Bills 17

PANTHERS (-13.0) Over 49ers

A weird part of me thinks the 49ers actually have a shot… But… I feel like after last week they regress, and the Panthers get an easy W here. Panthers 45 49ers 14

Bears (-3.0) Over Eagles

The Bears get a much easier match-up. The Eagles, a tougher one. Cutler and the Bears take advantage of one of their easier match-ups of the season. Bears 27 Eagles 17

Jaguars (+3.0) Over CHARGERS

The Chargers are a mess. The Jaguars lost a tough match-up to Aaron Rodgers. Do the math. Jaguars 31 Chargers 17

Saints (+4.5) Over GIANTS

The Giants get their revenge, but it’s another close shootout. Round 2 of what was the most electrifying game of 2015. Giants 41 Saints 38

Cowboys (+3.0) Over REDSKINS

The Cowboys usually play well in Washington. They should keep it close, and possibly push. I think they manage to pull out a victory though. Cowboys 23 Redskins 20

Colts (+6.0) Over BRONCOS

Two completely polar opposite teams… But Andrew Luck seems to play well in Denver. I think the trend continues, and they at least keep it close. Broncos 23 Colts 20

Titans (+5.5) Over LIONS

Ok Titans, I’ll believe in you one more time to keep it close. But the Lions sneak away with a victory here. Lions 24 Titans 20

VIKINGS (+2.5) Over Packers

UPSET ALERT! The Vikings defense continues to shine, as Rodgers struggles. He’ll get his revenge, but this week, I’m taking Minnesota to pull off the upset at home in a surprisingly low scoring game. Vikings 20 Packers 17

Ravens (-7.0) Over BROWNS

You never know with these rivalry games… But… The Browns don’t look like they’ll be competing for a few weeks. Ravens 30 Browns 13

Chiefs (+2.5) Over TEXANS

The Chiefs get it rolling, riding off of last week’s momentum, against a Texans team that just can’t seem to beat them. Chiefs 20 Texans 17

RAMS (+3.5) Over Seahawks

Somehow, some way, the Rams will beat the Seahawks with some weird score. As is tradition. No analysis necessary. Rams 15 Seahawks 11

Dolphins (+6.5) Over PATRIOTS

I think the Pats come back down to earth, and keep it close with the Dolphins, who have a surprisingly good defense so far. Still, Jimmy G starts 2-0. Patriots 27 Dolphins 24

Buccaneers (+6.5) Over CARDINALS

I have no idea what to think of this match-up… Do the Cardinals return to their normal form and wipe out the Bucs? Or does Famous Jameis continue his impressive Sophomore season and keep it close/pull out a win? NO idea, so I’ll take the points. Cardinals 30 Bucs 27
