Mo (32-20)-Mercy Christmas Everyone!

New Orleans Pelicans (9-19) vs Miami Heat (16-11)

The Miami Heat are on a six game winning streak on Christmas, while the Pelicans are on a two game winning streak heading into today’s game. The Heat have been a very good defensive team this season with a rejuvenated Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh taking command of this team. Their biggest issue for them has been on the offensive side of the ball; it seems they can’t find that third and fourth guy to show up on a nightly bases and their ball movement becomes stagnant throughout their games. As for the Pelicans, it has been a disappointing season for them so far. The lack of effort seems very apparent, while Anthony Davis is playing a beast the rest of the team disappear for most of their games.

Heat W 98-92

Chicago Bulls (15-11) vs Oklahoma City Thunder (20-9)

The Chicago Bulls are on a three game losing streak right now heading to this game and probably add on to that today. With Derrick Rose having a career low in all categories, which is both terrible for him and the Bulls who are very dependent on him. The only reason they have a decent record right now is due to enlarge part to their defense. It seems they can keep games close till the fourth quarter and afterwards they completely collapse. The Thunder are on a three game winning streak and have been clicking on the offensive side of the ball.

OKC W 108-100

Cleveland Cavaliers (19-7) vs Golden State Warriors (27-1)

This is definitely the biggest match-up today, since this is the first time they will play against each other since the finals last year. The Cavs are on six game winning streak heading into this game and slowly becoming fully healthy. Kyrie Irving made his return two games ago and is slowly increasing his workload and Iman Shumpert is finally back to his full workload. While the Warriors have been pretty much unstoppable except for a hiccup against the Bucks given the circumstance they were in. I expect to see a close game with the Warriors pulling away late.

Warriors W 112-108

San Antonio Spurs (25-5) vs Houston Rockets (15-15)

The Spurs have quietly been the second best team in the league right now. They have the league-best point differential (13.6) is a hair better than defending NBA champion Golden State (13.5), the next closest is Oklahoma City (8.8). While the Rockets have looked like the same team they were last year., though recently they started to look a better as James Harden wills his team to victories. I expect the Spurs to win this game pretty handily.

Spurs W 112-100
