Here’s the daily picks.

Brian – (147-149-3) – I can taste .500… And I’ll achieve that today.

Lane – (14-16-1) – After a good night last night I am looking to finally get over .500.

Clippers (-6.0) Over Nets – The Clippers look to bounce back from a tough loss to the Bulls. Blake Griffin was ejected last game, so look for him to be hungry tonight.

Lane – Clippers (-6.0) Over Nets – Blake Griffin will be out this game due to his flagrant foul against the Bulls. Look for the Clippers to come in with a lot of energy and ready to play as they were in the second half the other night. The Nets have not looked good this year and I expect to see Jordan shutting down Lopez.

Hornets (-2.5) Over Celtics – The Celtics are going to be exhausted after a grueling double OT loss to the Warriors. The Hornets should take advantage of that.

Lane – Hornets (-2.5) Over the Celtics – I made the mistake a few nights ago taking the Heat against the Hornets. Well the Hornets won that game by 20. They are a much improved team behind the veteran off-season signing of Batum.

Pacers (pk) Over Pistons – The Pistons are at home, but I can’t pick against Paul George and this Pacers team right now.

Lane – Pistons (pk) Over Pacers – The Pacers looked good last night but when Whiteside was in the game they seemed flustered on offense. Drummond is a much better center than Whiteside so look for him to take advantage on the offensive boards and get his 3rd straight game with at least 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Lakers (+11.5) Over Rockets – I still don’t know if I buy into the Rockets enough to pick them to cover a double digit spread.

Lane – Rockets (-11.5) Over Lakers – The Lakers are just bad. They have a few young studs who have been producing and will pieces for the future, but the future is not tonight. Rockets win big in this one.

Spurs (-3.0) Over Hawks – Something about the Hawks just isn’t right this year… Not sure who will stop Kahwi.

Lane – Spurs (-3.0) Over Hawks – The Hawks played a competitive game against the Thunder last night so I look for them to be  bit tired tonight. While the Spurs did play last night as well they played the Lakers which is more of practice.

Bulls (-6.5) Over Pelicans – The Bulls are great at shooting the three… The Pelicans can’t stop it. Pelicans lose big here.

Lane – Pelicans (+6.5) Over Bulls – The Pelicans were a team that made the playoffs last year out of the west. They are team underachieving badly this year that just need time to mesh. 6.5 is a lot of points to give for a Bulls team that usually plays close games.

Bucks (+8.5) Over Warriors – I’ll probably regret this but… No Klay, coming off of a double OT game last night, on the road… A close game is possible.

Lane – Warriors (-8.5) Over Bucks – The Warriors saw last night that without Klay it can be difficult. With that being said Curry is going to come out on fire and with him and Green playing very well it will be too much for the Bucks to handle.

Mavericks (-6.5) Over Wizards – Especially without Beal, it’s tough to pick this Wizards team against playoff caliber teams.

Lane – Wizards (+6.5) Over Mavericks –  The Wizards are a team that has the pieces in place they just dont seem to be able to  click as a unit yet. With Beal out I look for Wall took take over and keep the Wizards close down the stretch of the game.

Knicks (+3.5) Over Trail Blazers – The Knicks are in a bit of a slump… But I doubt they’re in a “lose by more than 3 to the Trail Blazers” type of slump.

Lane – Trail Blazers (-3.5) Over Knicks – When are people going to realize the Blazers have one of the best scoring guard duos in the NBA. Lillard is as legit as it gets and this team will not only win this game, but blow out an improving Knicks team
