COLLEGE BASKETBALL IS BACK!!!! Ok… It’s not March so I’m sure a lot of you aren’t quite as excited as we are here.

Now, betting on opening night in College Sports is usually stupid… But we’re gonna do it anyway. So here’s some picks to consider tonight.

Colorado (+9.5) Over #7 Iowa State – Iowa State isn’t exactly a great team away from home. At least they haven’t been. This game is at a neutral site. It should be relatively close.

Cincinnati (-21.0) Over West Carolina – With SMU banned from the tournament, Cincinnati is suddenly the favorite to win the AAC. Statement win by 25+ tonight.

Dayton (-18.5) Over SE Missouri State – Dayton returns a lot of players this year. They’re very well coached. They’re a borderline Top 25 team this year… They should dominate tonight.

Georgia (-10.5) Over Chattanooga – A tournament team vs. a team that I haven’t seen in the tournament in years? They should win by 20?

#2 Kentucky (-20.0) Over Albany – Kentucky should start this new season with a 40 point win over a cupcake team.

#3 Maryland (-21.5) Over Mount St. Mary’s – This Maryland team is apparently loaded. They should prove it tonight by crushing a weak opponent.

Seton Hall (-11.0) Over Dartmouth – Seton Hall is at least usually in the mix for basketball. When’s the last time Dartmouth made the tournament?

#9 Gonzaga (-4.5) Over Pittsburgh – Expect a big game from Kyle Wiltjer and the Zags tonight on National TV.

Texas (-11.0) Over Washington – Shaka Smart is out to prove a point this year. Texas should make a statement tonight against a weak Washington team.

UCLA (-14.0) Over Monmouth – This just sounds like the type of game where UCLA wins by 50.

#14 California (-16.0) over Rice – Rice… that is something you eat. Cal wins big here.

Hope this goes well so I can keep writing these. Follow us on Twitter @TheMadManSports and go to our Youtube page for more!
