Temple

Brian Sullivan

I went 5-5 last week, hopefully I’m trending upward. Here’s ten picks to go with.

Record – 8-12

UNC (-3.0) Over #23 Pittsburgh – This spread validates what I thought– UNC is better than Pitt. Unranked? Favored? On the road? Take them here, Vegas is baiting you to take Pitt.

Arizona State (-2.5) Over Oregon – Arizona State has been heating up, and Oregon has looked terrible this year. Both coming off byes, it should be a close one, but I’ll take the home team to win.

#19 Ole Miss (-7.0) Over Auburn – Auburn is terrible… Ole Miss wins in a landslide.

Boston College (+2.5) Over Virginia Tech – Neither team is very good, but Boston College has the type of defense that could shut down VT. Take them with the points here.

#3 Clemson (-10.0) Over N.C. State – Clemson should continue to roll here against a pretty average NC State team.

#11 Florida (-2.5) Over Georgia – This feels odd… The spread feels too small. I’m ALMOST tempted to take Georgia, but Florida is just such a better team.

#21 Temple (+9.5) Over #9 Notre Dame – I keep doubting Temple, they keep proving me wrong. They could win this game, they’ll definitely cover.

#15 Michigan (-13.5) Over Minnesota – Expect Michigan, coming off the bye, to dominate Minnesota here.

#12 Oklahoma State (-3.0) Over Texas Tech – I like Texas Tech, and I think Oklahoma State is a bit overrated (even though they’re one of my favorite sleepers). But Oklahoma State is favored for a reason, they are the better team. They should win a close one here.

USC (-6.0) Over California – Another week where I’m shocked USC is favored. Seems they’ve caught some fire since they fired their head coach, so it wouldn’t shock me if they rout Cal here. It also wouldn’t shock me if Cal wins by 45+. I’m not shocked by anything USC related anymore.
